Bal Harbour Islands
Within the community of Bay Harbor Islands are two passive parks. For those with small children, a well-equipped, waterfront tot lot playground with state-of-the-art play structure, swing sets and a picnic pavilion is a wonderful. Older children can attend the after school activities at Bay Harbor Elementary School, located in the heart of Bay Harbor.
The main street, Kane Concourse, is home to retail shops; restaurants, including The Palm, the nationally famous steakhouse; salons and offices. Just one street south is Bay Harbor Fine Foods, a gourmet market that has been serving the community for over 50 years. The town retains its small town feel, yet still possesses an air of sophistication.
Just south of Bay Harbor Islands is the Indian Creek Country Club and Bal Harbour is right next door, which is famed for the world-renowned Bal Harbour Shops. Miami Beach and its own plethora of activities are minutes to the south and the beach is a very short drive to the east. If you want to walk, it’s still close enough to do so.
